ऐसी दुन्या जिस में हम तुम 

ज़ुल्म-ो-सितम की चक्की में 

पिस्ते हैं और पिसकर भी हम 

शुक्र करें, मजबूरी है, 

ये कैसी मजबूरी है।

Compulsion

Such a wretched world 

Wherein 

We are ever grinded 

Between the two sides of a mill-stone

And even 

After the tedious process

Haplessly 

Thank God!

Shit! are we here 

Destined to constraint and compulsion 

Nay, coercion, I say? 

How to explain - 

In the damn world

This oppression 

And tyranny of fate?
